According to reports, Virat had excused himself from the ODI series against Sri Lanka and had left for Italy from Delhi on December 9. Anushka had left with her family on December 9 for Italy.
The wedding reportedly was solemnised in an 800-year-old plush resort set amidst rolling vineyards with only family and very few friends in attendance. Anushka Sharma wore a Sabyasachi ensemble on her special day.
If reports are anything to go by then the power couple would be throwing a grand reception in Mumbai on December 26 and will be registering their marriage at the Bandra family court on January 4.
