In a heartwarming gesture, several musicians have joined hands with Robin Hood Army, an Indo-Pak based charitable trust that works at eradicating global poverty and hunger by collecting surplus food from restaurants and distributing it to the poor.
Musicians Farhan Akthar, Vishal Dadlani, Uday Benegal, Vasudha Sharma, Clinton Cerejo and several other artists have come together and crooned an anthem titled Realign dedicated to the organisation’s latest initiative.
On this Independence Day, the organisation plans to roll out a campaign, #Mission500k, that aims serving food to more than 5 lakh underprivileged persons in both India and Pakistan.
The singers also convey a special message urging people to join the initiative and make it a successful one.
