Unlike most films in Bollywood, Kareena Kapoor Khan will neither bear resemblance to Pooh from Kabhi Khushi, Kabhi Gham nor will she remind you of the talkative Geet from Jab We Met. The usually glamorous actress is playing a simple doctor in her upcoming film Udta Punjab and definitely looks the part.
Every actor in this film has embraced a completely different avatar from what they’re normally associated with. Alia Bhatt is playing a Bihari migrant worker and Shahid Kapoor is playing a maniacal Punjabi rockstar under the influence of drugs.
Punjab’s superstar Diljit Dosanjh, who is all set to make his Bollywood debut in Udta Punjab, will be seen essaying the role of a tough cop.
