After featuring in Bombay Velvet in 2015, filmmaker Karan Johar is all set to return as an actor.
The trailer of Welcome To New York is out and Karan Johar is playing, well, himself!
Welcome To New York is being touted as a heartfelt comedy that tells the story of two unlikely youngsters living in India in search of a better life for themselves. An unexpected trip to New York City sets them off on a comedic adventure that changes their lives forever.
Besides Karan, the film features Sonakshi Sinha and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead role. It also boasts of a massive ensemble line-up including Rana Daggubati, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta and Boman Irani.
Directed by Chakri Toleti, the film is scheduled to release on February 23.
