Avengers: Infinity War is quite possibly the biggest cinematic event of all time.
Make no mistake, there could have been better films, but none of them have ever created such anticipation among billions.
Well, being a Marvel fan, I can tell you that this week will be just like the week before your board exams’ results are out.
And you know what’s worse, if you haven’t booked your tickets yet, you will most probably not get to see it on the 27th of April. The theatres are housefull and apps seem like they’re witnessing too much traffic.
Look, the movie has been 10 years in the making.
Marvel set it up nicely with seconds of post-credits scenes, starting from the first Avengers movie to the end of Thor: Ragnarok, when we see the Mad Titan, Thanos’ battleship raiding Thor’s Asgardian ship. So naturally, we’re all psyched.
But (there is always a but), what if Infinity War doesn’t turn out to be all that good?
Hey, come on. There’s absolutely no need to be violent. Just saying, what if, and mind you, it’s highly unlikely, but what if it just happens to be another billion dollar mess that you wouldn’t shit on?
Imagine if it turns out to be another Justice League movie. Imagine 10 years of build up just falling down like a house of cards.
JL was supposed to be the most anticipated superhero mash up of all time and look how they shit on it.
Okay, I will walk out before you guys lose your shit. The movie will most likley be good but what if, with the expectations so high, it turns out to be a mediocore adventure flick? *Fingers crossed*
