Ever since the teaser for Bala released, the audience was psyched to see Ayushmann Khurrana gain a ‘new look’ by losing out on his hair! And now that the trailer has released, it appears the film may hit the nail on the head.
As the teaser hinted, Ayushmann Khurrana stars as Bala, a young man afflicted with premature balding.
From flaunting his lustrous hair as a child to struggling with society’s judgments and his own insecurities, Bala’s journey appears to be hilarious and realistic in equal terms.
The film also stars Bhumi Pednekar as a ‘dark-skinned’ girl, who attends a seminar for fairness creams hosted by Bala and ends up becoming his friend.
Yami Gautam plays his love interest in the film, who is apparently a social media star – and has only seen him with a wig.
*Ayushmann really needs to stop duping Yami in movies!*
The film also boasts of an amazing supporting cast that includes Javed Jaffrey, Abhishek Banerjee (who reunites with Stree director Amar Kaushik), Saurabh Shukla, and Seema Pahwa.
