A.R. Rahman Will Be Incredibly Proud Of These Students Singing His Song ‘Yeh Jo Des Hai Tera’

Akarsh Mehrotra

We all carry the love for our country in our hearts and no matter where we travel to or stay, India will always be home for us. It is said that music can touch us at a level where words alone can’t, and a soulful combination of the two can speak to our hearts like nothing else can. This rendition of the famous song “Yeh jo des hai tera” from the movie Swades has not only been performed by Indians of the Berklee College of Music , but its students from all over the world.

Paying tribute to our own Oscar winning musical maestro AR Rahman, this song is guaranteed to give every Indian goosebumps. There is nothing like our mitti ki khushboo.
