The makers of the film Neerja are leaving no stone unturned to bring forth the story of Neerja Bhanot as realistically as they can, even if that includes creating the Pan Am Boeing 747-121 from scratch.
The original ill-fated aircraft played a significant role in the unfortunate incident and the makers are well-aware of that. These pictures give a glimpse of the mammoth task of creating an “almost functioning” replica of the original aircraft.

Neerja Bhanot was a senior purser on the ill-fated Pan Am Flight 73 where she helped a number of passengers escape before securing herself. The much-anticipated biopic-in-the-making is already causing a lot of anticipation.
