Small, independent brands on social media are really changing the retail game. But what do you do when you see your design sported by a celeb, only it’s a copy by a billion dollar brand?
This is what happened to People Tree, a sustainable fashion brand based out of New Delhi.
A Facebook post has accused Dior of stealing the designs of People Tree.
Here is a photo of Sonam Kapoor wearing a Dior dress on the January cover of Elle India.
Apparently, the print of the dress the actor is wearing was originally designed by People Tree, years ago.
We have to say, it’s almost identical.
