For those who don’t know, dyslexia is a learning disorder which is also known as a reading disability. It involves difficulty in reading, identifying speech sounds and decoding words and letters that one can relate to. This basically happens when there is a problem with the way the brain processes graphic symbols. To be more precise,dyslexia is a linguistic problem and not a visual one. Now, this in no way means that people with dyslexia aren’t intelligent because that is not true. However, you should know that dyslexia effects people in different ways. It is not the same for everyone. It is true that dyslexia is a neurological condition but it doesn’t have anything to do with an individual’s intelligence. Most children who show early signs of dyslexia join specialized educational programmes where they are taught techniques and other skills to deal with this disorder since, there is no cure for it. It is difficult to understand the symptoms and signs of dyslexia before your child enters school so, here are 18 common symptoms that can indicate a problem.
