When editor and graphic designer John Koenig wrote his glossary of made-up words which can be found here in The Dictionary Of Obscure Sorrows he unwittingly made us yearn for more. It opened up the floodgates of actions and feelings that are a part of our daily whims and routines, but incomplete by mere definition. Which makes us wonder, that as our lives evolved and the range of our emotions and levels of engagement multiply – each distinguished, so unique in design – is there a gap in this language?
