Sorry, We Messed Up.

Sriparna

This afternoon, a massive Earthquake hit parts of Nepal and India, causing destruction and loss of life on both sides of the border. Without fully realising the gravity of the situation, we put an article titled: ‘16 Thoughts That Went Through Everyone’s Mind When The Earthquake Happened’. In retrospect, it was a huge blunder on our part. We trivialised an event that has affected and is still affecting many people, both in India and Nepal. We are deeply sorry for what we did and we are re-assessing the way we do our content so that something like this doesn’t get repeated.

Again, we regret our mistake and our heart goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy. Going forward, we’ll be creating content around the Earthquake aiding awareness and relief work.

As the Editor-in-Chief, I apologize to each one of you and I’ll be donating a month’s salary to Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund.

UPDATE: You can also contribute to the fund by using HDFC’s bill desk.
