It’s Official: Houston Mayor Declares August 7 As Anupam Kher Day

Anupam Kher is one of the most popular Indian actors not only in India but all around the world. Be it his debut performance in Saaransh or his performance in A Wednesday, he never fails to impress his critics and his audience. The actor has been touring USA for his well-received play, Mera Woh Matlab Nahi Tha .

Directed and written by Rakesh Bedi, the story r evolves around Pritam (Anupam Kher) and Hema (Neena Gupta) who are ex-lovers and decide to meet after 35 years to discover the r eason behind their separation.

On 7th August, the team performed in Houston and The Mayor of Houston, Annise Parker commended Anupam Kher on his commitment for providing quality entertainment to the community and, therefore, declared August 7 th as Anupam Kher Day.
