Charanjit Singh, The Man Who Gave Birth To Acid House Music, Passes Away At 75

Charanjit Singh, the man who unintentionally created acid house music, died in his home in Mumbai on 3 July.

The sessions musician who played with star names such as RD Burman and Shankar Jaikishen became an international sensation when his 1982 album, Ten Ragas to a Disco Beat, was re-released in 2010. He may have passed on, but his music will live on forever.
