Eve-teasing is a constant nuisance and the cases keep popping up like crazy. Making remarks and molesting is one thing we all have heard about, but having the audacity to threaten thereafter is just disturbing. The people who molest are not scared at all. Is this because the police don’t do anything about it? And is it fair to blame the police when people like us don’t stand up and intervene when something like this is happening around us?
Jasleen was around Tilak Nagar, New Delhi, when this man made obscene remarks at her. When she said that she is going to file a complaint against him, he was unafraid and even threatened her.

Sharing posts on social media is very easy and anyone can do that. But we all need to be aware of what is happening around us. We need to stand up and think twice before turning a blind eye to things happening around us. This brave woman has filed a complaint and we are glad that she chose to speak up.
