Despite printing openly casteist, sexist and borderline racist matrimonial ads in their papers, there’s one thing newspapers like Hindustan Times, Times of India and DNA won’t run – Ads for a groom for a gay man. Mid-day seems to have no such qualms however, as they happily put out an ad for a groom of the same sex for a certain Mr. Iyer. Very progressive and very inspiring.
