Guwahati Veterinarian Puts His Life In Danger To Rescue Leopard From A Well

With incidents of animal cruelty on the rise, this incident involving a leopard and a veterinarian from Guwahati, Assam, fills us with a ray of hope.

When the female leopard fell into an open well while prowling for food, her chances of coming out alive were dim.

While she struggled to reach out, veterinarian doctor Bijoy Gogoi did something exemplary!

Without worrying about his own safety, Gogoi jumped into the well and rescued the leopard. The incident took place near Sonaigali village, Guwahati, and the rescued leopard was later sent to a local zoo.

Wouldn’t the world be a better place if we had more people like him?
