Yo Yo Honey Singh Is Helping Farmers In Uttarakhand. By Scaring Away Wild Animals!

Abhijeet Bhatt

We all knew that Yo Yo Honey Singh was an accomplished (lol!) rapper. But what we didn’t know, that he loves doing social service as well. And then moreover, doesn’t even brag about it.

Had it not been for the Indian media, we would’ve never got to know that when he’s not making music (read: noise), our desi rapper (lol!) is actually helping poor farmers in Uttarakhand.

By shooing away wild boars!

According to a report by The Times Of India , wild boars have become such a problem in Uttarakhand, that the government has declared them a pest and allowed people to hunt them down.

However, hunting them didn’t solve the problem and they continued ruining the crops.

That’s when farmers in Nainital came up with this unique idea; of playing Honey Singh songs at full volume to keep the wild boars at bay.

Apparently, the songs work even better than recorded sounds of Tigers and Leopards! The farmers don’t suffer any more losses and they enjoy listening to songs all day long.

It’s a win-win situation.

Not for the wild boars though, who’re clearly losing.

What’s more, as a bonus, apart from the wild boars even the nilgais run away after listening to his songs.Needless to say, Nainital farmers who had gone bankrupt last year since their potato, wheat and tomato cultivation had been ruined by wild boars, are now rejoicing.

Way to go Honey paaji. Isse kehte hain hip-hop!
