Remember when we used to be in school, we would excitedly draw the national flag and patriotically wave it on special occasions like Independence Day and Republic Day? But guess what, we got it all wrong. This is how most of us drew the flag…

…With the stripes and the Ashok Chakra with 24 lines originating from the centre. But, that’s not what the national flag actually looks like. Yes, our whole life has been a lie!

This is what the tricolour actually looks like:

Now if you look closer, there are two circles. The second circle looks more like a wheel with small bumps and is the Ashoka Chakra. When you look even closer, you will notice these details in the flag below:
