This Rajasthani Family Prefers Live-In Relationships Over Marriage But Not For The Right Reasons

India as a country might be progressing on a lot of fronts, but on the whole, we’re still home to a pretty conservative society. Things are slowly changing, but as of now, things like live-in relationships are a strict no-no. Except for this family.

A family in Udaipur, has been living in live-in relationships for the last 3 generations.

According to a report on News18 , when the family receives a proposal, the prospective bride or groom is clearly informed that no marriage ceremony will take place.

As per the report, originally four brothers came to settle in Merpur. Out of the four, three got married while 1 maintained a live-in relationship. The married brothers remained childless, while only the fourth brother had children.

Ever since then, the family has believed that anyone who gets married will stay childless.
