37-year-old Jelani Maraj has been accused of raping a child younger than 13, several times between April and November this year. Maraj is the older brother of rapper and recording artist, Nicki Minaj, whose real name is Onika Tanya Maraj.
Jelani Maraj was arrainged in a Long Island hospital last Thursday on charges of first degree rape and first degree sexual conduct against a child. It is not known whether he took a plea, but reports say that his bail $100,000 bond was paid by his sister, Nicki Minaj, who backed it up with two homes she owns in Baldwin, NY.
