This Hard Working Young Boy Had A Lot Of Dreams But Not The Means. Until This Happened

Amrath Meghwal was just another boy from a humble background for whom an education in a decent English medium school seemed like a distant dream. That is until a small step brought him closer to the bright future he always dreamed of.

Amrath’s parents registered him for Colgate’s 1 Lakh Rupee Scholarship Programme. To their utter delight, Amrath was awarded the scholarship and gained admission to a school of his choice. He now sits proudly in front of the camera, telling us his own story in flawless English. This is just one of the many ways in which Colgate, like a good corporate citizen, is doing its bit to make education more accessible to under-privileged children all across the country.

It’s touching to see that the things we tend to take for granted, mean so much more to another person. At the end of the day, it’s all about perspective.
