Watch People Celebrate As Water Finally Flows Into Andhra River After 20 Years Of Drought

Kalavapalli River. You’ve probably never heard of it. That’s because of the last 20 years, it technically didn’t exist. The river used to flow through Anantapur district in Andhra Pradesh but the area was hit by a severe drought that lasted for over 2 decades.

Until now, that is. In an amazing scene, water started to finally into the once barren river. This video captures the excitement of the locals as they celebrate while the water flows. Check it out.
