Most women have silently suffered sexual abuse, be it at the hands of random strangers or pervert relatives. Even if we have tried to speak up, most of us have been silenced and asked to be hush hush about such incidents. Of course times are changing, and more and more women are choosing to report incidents of violence against them.

As part of WEvolve Global’s campaign, actor-producer Poorna Jagannathan, famous for playing a journalist in Delhi Belly, speaks up about being harassed.

When you break your silence, you break the cycle of violence.
