Few Mumbaikars Decided To Solve The City’s Pothole Problem. What They Did Is Applause-Worthy

Most Mumbaikars are well aware of the sorry state of the roads in the city. A few citizens decided to get together and do something about it albeit in a satirical manner.

Since the potholes weren’t going anywhere, the idea was to create stories around them. They also created a website, Fillinthepotholes.com , where fellow Mumbai citizens can share their own pothole experiences. They’re also working on crowd-funding an app through which users can geo-tag potholes they find. This will help create a database of potholes with proper location tags. This info can then be relayed to the concerned authorities who can hopefully take some swift action.
