Wondering Why Coldplay’s Chris Martin Was In Delhi? Here’s What He’s Doing In India

Chris Martin, the vocalist of Coldplay’s, unannounced arrival at Summer House Cafe, Hauz Khas Village, New Delhi, took everyone by surprise and got us all wondering: what the hell was he doing in Delhi in the first place?

I mean: yes, a surprise appearance is a good enough reason but still. There has got to be more to it, right?

So here’s the real reason why he was in town: Chris Martin, along with Freida Pinto, came to town for The Global Poverty Project .

What is it, you ask? It is a project part of a global non-profit organisation that aims to eradicate extreme poverty by 2030. Martin and Pinto are the brand ambassadors of Global Citizen and this project.

Furthermore, they’ll be making field visits across India to look into projects that tackle sanitation in the country.

Fascinating, right? Good news for us is that Chris jammed pretty hard after all the hard work he’s been up to.
