This Recently Discovered Cure For Baldness Is Getting Many People Excited

Forget nuclear energy. Screw travelling to the Moon. And don’t even mention bread. Yes, science has finally done something really useful. Ladies and gentlemen, the cure for baldness is here!

Unfortunately for most of us, balding does not lead to this.

For centuries, not too many problems have plagued humanity as much as our eventual (in most cases anyway) defeat in the battle to keep our hair. However, scientists in Columbia University have discovered a drug that could be a potential answer to balding.

I’m not bald. I’m just taller than my hair.

According to the Times Of India , researchers said that the drugs inhibit a family of enzymes, namely the Janus Kinase (JAK) family of enzymes, that reside inside hair follicles, restoring hair growth.

Bye bye comb over!

While nothing has been set in stone yet, these drugs known as JAK inhibitors, could be used to restore hair growth in the near future. I don’t know about you guys, but I look forward to flaunting an afro sometime soon.
