The world of sex toys is evolving faster than I could have thought. Regular little toys and vibrators notwithstanding, you get fully molded, strangely creepy sex dolls nowadays. They apparently ‘feel like the real thing’ and can cost upwards of $30,000. Matt McMullen is taking it a step further though, by actually incorporating artificial intelligence into these pleasure bots.
In these futuristic machines, you can actually interact and have conversations with the robot, so the user feels more in tune with the ‘experience’. The machine, which he is calling Realbotix, is being assembled by Hanson Robotics, who are specialists in life-like robots.
While there is always a lot of controversy and even a little apprehension regarding anything with a near-human mind, Matt is convinced his product will change the future.
