This Picture Of A Sikh Man Removing His Turban Is Going Viral For All The Right Reasons

A Sikh Man’s turban is sacred to him. They wear it with pride. But 22-year-old Harman Singh did not think twice before taking his turban off. He was at home in Auckland, New Zealand, when he heard car tyres screeching and rushed out to witness a commotion.

“I saw a child down on the ground and a lady was holding him. His head was bleeding, so I unveiled my turban and put it under his head,” said Harman to New Zealand Herald.

“I wasn’t thinking about the turban. I was thinking about the accident and I just thought, ‘He needs something on his head because he’s bleeding.’ That’s my job – to help. And I think anyone else would have done the same as me,” he added.

What a gesture by Harman. It is actions like these that restore our faith in humanity. To everyone’s delight, it was later announced that the kid was in a stable condition in hospital.
