Lifelines is a hauntingly beautiful video portrait from the Himalayas that follows an inspiring young man named Makar Singh and his struggle to get educated and look for employment, which is not easy as he lives hours away from any towns in a small village in Uttarakhand. In the end his determination shines through and he remains hopeful that he will succeed despite the many difficulties he’s faced with.
It’s one man’s story of juggling responsibilities and fighting for dreams, both for himself and for his community.
