India is a land of magnificent diversity. Even amidst some incidents of discord, coming together of various religions is a reminder that communal harmony is not a forgotten concept in our country.

An inspiring example of the same was seen in Ludhiana, Punjab, when a langar ( free kitchen) was organized inside the historical Jama Masjid mosque. A gesture of solidarity, the event saw people belonging to various faiths, including Muslims, Sikhs, Christians and Hindus, serving and eating together. Watch this beautiful video that spreads the message of love and peace.
