From fatwas against women eating bananas because they make them engage in sinful fantasies to one that allows men to eat their wives if they are severely hungry, Muftis have issued some of the weirdest fatwas against women.
This time, a Saudi cleric issued one against women watching football and said that they only follow the game to stare at men’s thighs. Saying that it should be haram or prohibited for women, he added that, “They do not care who wins the match, all they care about is watching the player’s thighs.”
“A woman seeing a foreign man is sinful, so what about seeing his thighs and tight kit?”
He was quoted as saying.
Saudis across the world rubbished the fatwa for obvious reasons and #WomenLoveFootballBecauseOfMen’sThighs started trending on Twitter.
