Yuvraj’s Father Lashes Out At Dhoni, Says God Will Make Him Pay For Leaving Yuvi Out Of WC Squad

Dejected by Yuvraj Singh not being selected in the 2015 World Cup squad, his father and former India cricketer, Yograj Singh, has gone on air saying that India skipper captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni is solely responsible for the decision.

In an interview with news agency ANI, Yograj even went on to address Dhoni’s parents asking them to “take care of him.” He said, “I am sad because of what Dhoni has done. Neither me, nor Yuvraj are your enemies. God will make you pay for this decision of yours!”

Singh added that he wouldn’t be happier if India got home the World Cup, but was deeply saddened that a captain as great as Dhoni could stoop this low.

Reactions soon started pouring in with people saying that his statement was made in bad taste.

Yuvraj Singh too spoke soon after his father saying that his dad got “carried away.”

He tweeted:

Interestingly, this is not the first time that Yograj has played the blame game. He had earlier blamed then captain Kapil Dev for not including him in the 1983 World Cup-winning team.
