While many people thank God, their directors, producers and the whole industry in their acceptance speech, our lady here chose something different and personal.

Deepika, who was nominated for her roles in Piku, Tamasha and Bajirao Mastani read out a heartwarming letter from her father, Prakash Padukone, as her acceptance speech.

She read:

”If you love what you do nothing else matters, not even awards. Follow your heart and live your dream. You are our daughter and then an actress.”

That was beautiful, and this is just the beginning of many more awards to come. Kudos to you, Deepika!
