When I was little, long, flowing, silky, and lustrous hair were a dream. To add to my long-hair fantasies were Disney princesses with their thick and flowing locks. I mean, who doesn’t want hair like that?
But of course, everything comes with a price. Girls with long hair know the downsides a little too well. It’s endlessly irritating when hair strands get stuck on things like bag straps or dress zippers. You’re almost, always running late because it takes an inordinate amount of time to dry those locks. And then, there are days when you wake up with your hair all over the place, and start to get serious thoughts about chopping them.
