Note: This article is not an attempt at throwing barbs at India. We’re merely trying to point out the hypocrisies and ironies that exist within our country. After all, maybe after admitting it, we’ll all do something to rectify it.
India is an amazing country, more than a billion people with more than a billion mindsets. However, there is one thing that unites us all- hypocrisy. We may have a population of over a billion people, but the words ‘sex’ and ‘condoms’ are dirty words. Don’t teach your children how to prevent sexually transmitted diseases, because it may lead to ‘unhealthy practices’.
