Breastfeeding is one of the most natural thing in the world, and more importantly, something which is essential for a new born baby’s survival. And yet, a woman breastfeeding in public is the recipient of creepy stares and rude looks.

And exactly such reprehensible behavior is what Malyalam magazine Grihalakshmi is calling out, through their bold cover.

The cover has the image of a woman breastfeeding, along with the statement, “Mothers tell Kerala, “please don’t stare, we need to breastfeed””.

Not only is the cover completely on point, it has sparked quite a positive reaction on Twitter.

But amidst the positive reactions, there were obviously few people who completely missed the point and inadvertently proved why we need more such covers and discussions.

This is clearly a bold cover, and people’s reaction to it prove, that it’s important to normalize something as natural as breastfeeding.
