French fries have done a lot for us.

They can also help you find a date.

I think “you’re fries to my coke” is the most romantic thing to tell anyone.

Anyhow, the latest addition to the list of all the good things fries can do for humans, is the cure for baldness.

According to a recent study by researchers at Yokohama National University in Japan, a chemical called dimethylpolysiloxane, used in the preparation of french fries at McDonald’s, can prove to be helpful in hair regrowth therapies, reports Refinery 29

Their successful experiments on mice prove that it might work on humans, too.

There’s a catch, though. The chemical alone will not stimulate hair growth. It was, in fact, used to create hundreds of vessels in which the hair follicle germs could grow.
