In India, you either grow up in a joint family or know someone who has. If you don’t live in one, you love visiting your cousins or friends who do because of all the liveliness and excitement around and especially the good food. Joint families pamper the best. Any person from a joint family will vouch for all the fun they have had with their cousins, every moment is precious, the good times and the bad. The entire family was each other’s constant support system and you always knew there was someone looking out for you.
