When it comes to style, power and appeal, not many can match the levels of Skoda. India’s love affair started with the Czech automobile giant started way back in 2002 and a decade and a half later, their cars still make our heads turn. From the Octavia to the Superb to the Rapid, their powerful stable has given petrolheads in India enough reasons to go crazy. And with the new 2017 Octavia, they’ve given us one more.
To celebrate its launch, the brand teamed up with Jeswin Rebello, a Guinness World Record Holder for Light Painting and used the new Skoda Octavia to create India’s first ever light painting made by an automobile.
The light paintings are a beautiful tribute to India’s journey since independence and symbolize how we, as a nation, have been moving forward with the changing times.
Owners of earlier versions of the legendary Octavia were also invited by Skoda to witness and be a part of this one-of-a-kind experience. Jeswin and his team first showed the owners the concept of light painting and then went on to create their masterpieces along with them. Yes, you read that correctly.
