Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma’s wedding reception has been the talk of the town and the who’s who of Bollywood and Indian sports were present at the event in Mumbai last night.
Amid all the glitz and glamour, there was just one fan who got an entry into the gala reception party as the Indian Cricket Team’s captain had invited the man himself!
Kohli invited Gayan Senanayake, a differently-abled cricket fan, to the second reception of Virat and Anushka held in Mumbai.
Senanayake is a huge fan of the Sri Lankan cricket team and travels the world to support his team. This time he was in India to cheer for them.
He has known Kohli since 2008 when he led India to win the U-19 World Cup tournament. Kohli kept in touch with Senanayake and even invited him to his wedding reception.
Not only the celebrated couple obliged Gayan with a picture but also got him to share a frame with cricketing legend Sachin Tendulkar, pace bowler Jasprit Bumrah and left-arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja.
Twitter was all praises for Kohli for this warm gesture.
