What I Want My Lover To Know

Era Tangar

Love is weird. The things it makes one feel are chaotic and not-so-chaotic at the same time. It makes you feel vulnerable, yet empowered. There are questions without an answer and there is, sometimes, colossal amounts of confusion bereft of a remedy. There are so many things we have to say and want our lovers to know and sometimes, the right words just don’t happen at the right time.

And so, there are poems. A way of letting out everything that you’ve felt. A way of holding each other’s hands and feeling absolutely thrilled with the fact that someone else has felt the same things you are feeling right now.

Here’s to my lover.

Oh dear love!
