If the world wasn’t already falling head over heels for this guy, Justin Trudeau has given this planet another reason to love him.
Trudeau has proved many times just how open and inviting he is to the world. He’s demonstrated that on many occasions–whether it is personally welcoming Syrian refugees in the country, bringing a more diverse cultural background in his cabinet, or having more women in his A-team.
On this occasion too, Trudeau proved that he really is the torchbearer for oneness and inclusiveness. And he uses both his actions and his words to convey it.
In a recent public townhall meeting, a woman posed a question to the Canadian PM. She went on to explain her issue on limitations of religious charitable institutions and used the word “mankind”.
Trudeau was quick to remark and politely suggested this:
“We like to say peoplekind, not necessarily mankind, because it’s more inclusive.”
The crowd cheered him on, and even the lady posing the question smiled and agreed.
This is not the first time, Trudeau has been this specific in his mission to be gender-inclusive.
His government even facilitated a change in National Anthem that originally said “in all thy sons command” to “in all of us command” to be less offending and more inclusive.
