With a brand valuation of USD 144 million, the Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli has raced past Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan to become the the most valuable celebrity brand in India.

According to Duff & Phelps report Rise of the Millennials: India’s Most Valuable Celebrity Brands, Kohli has registered a growth of 56% as a brand from last year primarily with an increase in endorsement fees, on-field performances and rise in popularity index. He endorses 20 brands as of October 2017. 

SRK endorses 21 brands and has slipped down to number two in the rank for the first time ever.
