Global Indian Music Awards are known to honour deserving musicians across various categories every year. This year’s GIMA was held on 5th May with the biggies of Bollywood in full attendance. The event was hosted by Ayushmann Khurrana, a talented actor & musician himself.
Apart from the award winners and Ayushmann’s super endearing anchoring antics, we were left spellbound by Arijit Singh’s performance to his songs over his span in Bollywood music.
Arijit performed a some of his popular numbers like Janam Janam from Dilwale, Tere Liye from Airlift, Judaai from Badlapur, Bolna from Kapoor and Sons, Agar Tum Saath Ho from Tamasha and Tujhe Yaad Kar Liya Hai from Bajirao Mastani. The audience was cheering him all throughout his performance, lip-syncing to his songs, and basically having a great time.
Arijit won awards in various categories like Best Live Performer, MTV GiMA Duet of the year, Most Popular Radio Song of the Year, Best Film Song and Most Streamed Song of the year.
