This Band’s Classical Cover Of The Chainsmokers’ ‘Closer’ Will Take You To A Happy Place

The beauty of music, is that it can blend within itself different forms of the art from various places and create something unique and fresh.

This is what The Fusion Project does, create beautiful music by intertwining the Indian Classical with a Western voice and instruments to create novel music for the ears. The band initially started out in 2015, after a chance meeting between an Indian classical flautist and a blues singer and songwriter at Oxford University. Jam sessions had more band members coming on board and the band took off and how. With a large fan following, the band has also shared a stage with the musical legend, Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

As the song Closer by The Chainsmokers retains its footing at the number one spot on the billboards, The Fusion Project has added their own unique touch to it. Enjoy!

This is the new favourite song stuck in our heads.
