Since time immemorial, music has been known to cure an aching heart and a damaged soul. It soothes pain better than any medicine. And the best part about it? It knows no religion, caste or race! Families, friends and even nations separated by force connect again over music. Such is its power.

And that’s exactly what Shilpa Rao proved when she crossed borders to sing for Coke Studio Pakistan, along with the Pakistani band Noori. They performed the Punjabi folk song, Paar Channa De, and this beautiful rendition will make you experience peace and tranquility like never before.
