The word “Patriotism” gets thrown around so casually these days that it bothers me. Do we really understand its true meaning? We wave the national flag & chant the national anthem, but we forget about the soldiers who put their lives on the line to keep us safe. Surviving in hostile conditions, away from their loved ones for months at a time, they lose sleep so that we can sleep better.
Gaana.com recently visited the military camp at Leh to share heartfelt messages from the soldiers’ families. This video shows us just how touched these soldiers were on seeing their families after a long time & their reactions stirred something in me too.
