10 Terrorists Entered Gujarat, Informs Pakistan NSA; State On High Alert

Gujarat has been put on high alert after Pakistan’s National Security Adviser (NSA) Nasir Khan Janjua informed his Indian counterpart Ajit Doval that 10 terrorists have entered the state, The Times Of India reports.

A heavy contingent of NSG deployed in the state to counter possible terror attack. Two other NSG teams were put on stand by after high level alert sounded in the state.

Security has been tightened in the entire state and all security agencies have been put on high alert.

The state director general of police P C Thakur convened an emergency meeting on the issue and alerts were sounded off in all major cities and districts.

It is perhaps for the very first time that Pakistan NSA has shared such intelligence input with his Indian counterpart.

The alert holds significance as the BSF has found another abandoned Pakistani trawler in the Sir Creek area in Kutch, the fifth such discovery in the last three months, India TV News reports.
