Bangladesh may have thought they were in a good position to win the Asia Cup when India needed 20 off the last two overs in the final of the Asia Cup to chase down the target.
Then MS Dhoni decided to take matters in his own hands. In four balls, India’s limited overs captain smacked 17 runs: two sixes, a four and a single.
That was that. Bangladesh had lost and India had won. Dhoni had finished off another run chase with a six. And it came right after the image of Bangladesh pacer Taskin Ahmed holding Dhoni’s severed head had gone viral as the prelude to the final.
